Apprenticeships
If you already employ staff aged 16-24 or you want to attract new people in that age group by offering them access to a nationally-recognised training programme, then apprenticeships are the business.
Apprenticeships have been carefully developed in close consultation with employers and Sector Skills Councils to ensure that they provide a relevant, high-quality, work-based route towards the skills that are needed in today’s workplace.
Apprenticeships lead to National Vocational Qualifications, Key Skills, Technical Certificates and other valuable qualifications. Where appropriate, completion of an Apprenticeship can be a valid route to higher education such as courses like vocationally-based Foundation Degrees.
There are two levels of Apprenticeship:
• Apprenticeships for young people to train to Level 2 standard
• Advanced Apprenticeships providing the opportunity to train to Level 3 standard
Apprenticeships are typically offered in the following subject areas: Click the PDF icon link to view more about the course. |
